The Sensible Sandals is an idea which targets people who struggle with fastening traditional sandals on the outside foot. This idea can be applied to many designs of sandals and even shoes! If you have ever found yourself in a situation where it is difficult to reach down and fasten a sandal which tightens on the outside then you know how frustrating this is. Typically, those who are pregnant, older, or those who suffer from weight issues will have issues bending down to reach the outer section of their foot/ankle. There are many afflictions which can make this action difficult, however, these are just the most common ones.

Because of this people can be missing out on wearing something they love and enjoy allowing their feet to breath!! The Sensible Sandals solves this problem by having a loop on the inner section of the foot that allows a strap to be fed through and Velcro back onto the front portion of the strap. This keeps the sandal nice and tight, but doesn’t interfere with the look or functionality. Since the loop is low profile it won’t grab or snag on the other sandal, and it won’t be very noticeable. On the outside of the strap there will be an aesthetic buckle to keep up the appearance of the sandal being a regular one.

Most people find it easier to reach the inside of their foot since you can bend your leg in such a way that you can access it and this idea takes full advantage of that allowing people to enjoy the sandals they have always loved. These sandals would also have a custom ergonomic feel and support allowing the stress in your feet to melt away. Don’t lose out on your favorite sandals again! This product would be low cost on the retail shelf and could sell in any big box, and specialty, stores making it a high volume sales product.
