About The Invention
The Chill Pill
The Chill Pill is a device that is added to evaporative cooling units. The main function is to be used as a water cooler for the evaporative cooling units.
A normal existing evaporative cooler uses water from ground which can be very warm in areas and especially the southwest. The air that is pulled into the evaporative cooler is generally very hot which means the water never gets cooler. This device solves that problem by continually keeping the water much colder. It can be connected to existing power in the unit.
It uses an electronic plate which when powered produces a cold side and warm side. In this case the cold side is attached to a heat sink, which is underwater. It quickly cools the water to temperatures many degrees above ambient.
Quick and easy to install and it has no moving parts and connects to existing power in the evaporative cooling unit. This makes the Chill Pill a win-win solution for owners of these type of cooling units.
Tests have shown that the decrease in water temperature is quick and the effect is measurable .
The global evaporation cooling market was valued at USD 5.78 billion in 2018, and it is expected to register a CAGR of 5.1% during the forecast period (2019-2024). Evaporative cooling was used in residential areas that required comfortable cooling. However, it has expanded its reach to industries and commercial entities, where the scale of operation is much larger than that of residential areas. (source: Mordor Intelligence).
