Recumba-Ride

Recumba-Ride is a device that attaches to a bicycle, and give its rider a more rider friendly handlebar. It completely changes the way that you ride a bicycle. A rider can now ride a bicycle in a more comfortable position. It can be attached with sleeves to an existing handlebar, or it can be attached as a replacement handlebar.

The Recumba-Rider is built to bring the handlebar closer to the rider. With the lever actions of up-down, closer-further, and in-out, the riders handlebar can be moved to any location in front of the rider. Each rider can select their perfect handlebar location. The preferred handlebar position would be slightly above the waist, four or five inches in front of you. The rider would sit straight up in the seat, arms down at side, with palms resting on the bar near the brake. The rider would have full handlebar control with braking action.

The Recumba-Rider is not a either-or device. It is an either-and device. At any time, a rider can simply reach over the Recumba-Rider to ride the regular bar at any time without obstruction.

Persons with lower back issues will love the Recumba-Rider. Reaching for the handlebar to ride with a lower back problem is painful, difficult, or even impossible for many. With the Recumba-Rider, a rider is sitting straight up on the seat, arms down at side. No extra undue strain is put on the back riding in this position.

The Recumba-Ride will give bicycle riders a new, and improved way to ride a bicycle. Bending over, and leaning forward to ride a bike has been eliminated!! Sitting up on the seat, arms down to the side while grasping the handlebar will make for a safe, more comfortable ride. Everyone should want to feel more comfortable while riding a bicycle.
