About The Invention

Introducing the Drezz EZ™

Drezz EZ™ is a conforming garment design that allows the user to put it on without the difficulty or experiencing pain. The main reason for its special design is to allow a patient to recover from a condition that immobilizes the shoulder, making it very difficult to dress because many garments require lifting arms above the shoulder or moving the arms away from the body. The Drezz EZ™ garment is a relief to any- one who may experience pain due to an injured or immobilized shoulder. Breast Augmentation or Reconstruction, Mastectomy, Clavicle Fracture, Neck Dissection, Rotator Cuff Surgery.

In this garment, the opening begins at the collar and ends at the sleeve, preferably a short sleeve. The slit opening is fastened by Velcro™ strip sewn from the collar to the shoulder seam. Leaving the slit open on the sleeve from the shoulder seam to the end of the short sleeve for comfort if swelling occurs, easy access for physical therapy and physical exams of the shoulder at the doctor’s office.

With the slit on the shoulder, the garment is opened from the top, stepped into, and slid up. Sliding the uninjured arm into the garment’s armhole and placing the side with the slit over the injured shoulder and fasten it closed. Sliding the garment up after stepping into it keeps the injured or repaired shoulder from moving by pulling it over the shoulder, minimizing and or preventing pain.
