For incontinence, the customer will use this pad or underwear, particularly before bed. The pad’s silicone edge will stop urine from wetting other regions when the user is in a supine posture. The urine will drain to the bag, and the unique fabric will dry rapidly because of the material that allows to keep the moisture away from the skin. This product is 100% reusable and washable.

The valve is joined to the inner portion, which will support the core. The outside surface is non-slip. However, it is not necessary for something to be non-slip if it is underpants. The valve will face the pad’s narrow section. The purpose of the valve is to let moisture in but prevent it from coming back. It is 0.5 inches in diameter, flat on the inside, and has a.5-inch protuberance on the outside that connects it to a silicon tube. There are no specifications for the diameter or design. It will “click” to remove and reattach the tube. I propose a “donut” shape with a convex tube connection and a concave valve.

The length of the tube allows it to be hung on the bed’s side. This will be attached to a drainage bag for the urine. The tube is fastened to the bed with a clip or hanging hook. Ana Mendez from Sacramento, CA, was inspired by her work as a nurse. She found that many of her elderly patients with incontinence were soaking wet during the night. Ana contacted the Mars Rising Network and had a provisional and design patent application filed and had the invention designed properly so that she may see success with this great idea and turn it into a real product.

She is actively seeking a company that would have an interest in licensing the product for royalty. Working with Mars Rising Network, this essential new design concept was refined and prepared to be presented as a commercial product.
