About The Invention

Kool Lips has a mirror, and the dimensions will hold one lipstick 3 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. The lipstick container will be available in five unique designs.

Lipsticks when exposed to heat melt, and then application of the lipstick is messy. The container needs to have a cooling component within the container product lining. Once you place your lipstick in it, the lipstick will not melt.

Cooling Component: The key feature of Kool Lips is its cooling component. This lining should actively regulate the temperature inside the container, preventing the lipstick from melting even in hot conditions. A small cooling electronic pad or a phase-change material could do the trick.

Insulating Material: The container’s walls should be made of an insulating material to minimize heat transfer. Think about materials like double-walled stainless steel or high-quality plastic with insulating properties.

Compact and Stylish: Since it is meant to fit in a purse, the Kool Lips container should be compact and lightweight. The mirror is necessary in the container. As for the five unique designs, consider elegant patterns, metallic finishes, or even customizable options. The material needs to be easy to clean on the outside as well.

Easy to Clean: Lipstick containers can get messy. Ensure that the lining and mirror are easy to wipe clean. Are movable inner linings for thorough cleaning? Or the lining needs to be of a washable material.

Kristin Larson

About the Developer

Kristin Larson from Sioux Falls, SD, developed the idea for an enclosed heat-resistant container for lipsticks through her frustration. She accidentally left her lipstick exposed to heat and not able to apply it as it had melted. Women love beauty products and want them to be perfect for application at any time. She was in the beauty industry selling cosmetic products. She have always worn lipstick. She said to herself, “Wouldn’t it be nice if my lipstick did not melt when exposed to heat in the car left in my purse?”

Kristin contacted the Mars Rising Network and had a provisional and design patent application filed and had the invention designed properly so that she may see success with this great idea and turn it into a real product.

She is actively seeking a company that would have an interest in licensing the product for royalty. Working with Mars Rising Network, this essential new design concept was refined and prepared to be presented as a commercial product.
