About the Invention

Wedgelock Earplugs is a revolutionary invention that is designed to be implemented as a soundproof device. Maybe you work in areas where loud noises and sounds are the norm. Perhaps you need some peace but never get it as you work throughout the day. That’s frustrating and hard. It’s not something you would want to experience daily. Isn’t it better just to get yourself a Wedgelock Earplug and shut the world away?

The Wedgelock is the quintessential item that should be at the top of your shopping list. The unit is consisting of a plastic push pin with aknob that features a middle ring and an outer ring made from polyurethane foam.

When the push pin is retracted, the adjustable outer ring pulls the silicone outer shell. As it retracts, the push pin slides halfway out of the body. The body is a plastic sleeve with a flange on one end and a 1/4 hole on the other side so that the whole process can slide in and out smoothly. During the retraction, the middle ring will act as a cap by sealing the body and preventing sound from entering the air-filled cavity of the Wedgelock. The air holes on the back of the body allow air to go into the cavity when the push pin is fully inserted, thus allowing the Wedgelock to lock into a person’s ear.

About the Inventor

Wade Oneil from Ethel, LA, had an idea for a better way to block sound while working or just detaching yourself from the world.

Wade contacted the Mars Rising Network and had a provisional and design patent application filed and had the invention designed properly so that he may see success with this great idea and turn it into a real product. He is actively seeking a company that would have an interest in licensing the product for a royalty.
