About The Invention

Duraflex Sleeve

The Duraflex Sleeve helps eliminate the need to buy extra USB cables by protecting your original one from harm by reducing wear and tear. Cell phones are with us throughout the day and with this constant use comes constant opportunity for the supplied charging cables to wear out. Each and every day, multiple times per day, we plug in our cables, unplug our cables, move them around, leave them sitting out, etc. This kind of frenzied usage can quickly stress USB cables, especially around their connection points. Weakened internal wires or exposed wires can occur, leading to reduced charging capability or complete malfunction. There have even been cases where house fires were started from frayed charging cables! Reduce fire risk and unwanted trips to the store with the Duraflex Sleeve.

The Duraflex Sleeve consists of three parts that work together to ensure your charging cable is safe and in optimal condition. The Duraflex Cord is a durable yet flexible plastic tube with a grooved opening at the top, which allows you to easily insert the charging cable of your choice. The Cord flares out a bit at the ends so that your USB heads are able to easily fit inside. The two Connection Protectors at each end provide necessary stability to the most vulnerable sections of your USB or USB-to-Lightning cables. The Connection Protectors are designed to use the grooved tract of the Duraflex Cord to form a tight bond. Simply press the side buttons, creating torque, which flexes the top/bottom of the Protectors and causes the bond to release. Slide the Connection Protectors up or down, to either protect the USB connectors, or reveal them for use.

Save money and reduce inconvenience with the easy-to-use Duraflex Sleeve!
